41 Days To Go!

It's a Saturday and a boring one at that. I've been at my mom's house all day because Caleb is helping my dad in his addition. So here I am, and I decided to just check in. Oh, and I booked another cruise this morning!!!!!!!!!! It's going to be a family vacation cruise. So far my mom, my dad, my sister, my brother-in-law, my husband and myself are going. There are two more couples that we invited and they said they'd book too, but nothing yet. I probably will start blogging for that one after our anniversary cruise, but I'll have quite a few days to count down: 190 to be exact...Yikes!

42 Days To Go!

I'm sorry I didn't write yesterday. It was a hectic day. I cam from work and went straight to the gym. 45 minutes later, I was at my parents house helping them figure out some cruise thing (they too are counting down the days to their cruise), then went straight home to take a shower. My husband was home when I got out, and I dressed quickly because we had an appointment with the tax agency (we finally did our taxes!). After we left the tax agency we headed to Chili's and had dinner and drinks. Whew! We were tired.
So far my diet is going great. I am controlling myself so far and am feeling positive about my weight loss efforts. I can't wait to weigh myself next Wednesday and track my progress. By the way, I plan to lose 18 pounds. Let see if I can do it.
Well, that's pretty much it for me today. I'm off to a friends house to help her make her wedding favors, and I'm also doing laundry. See you all tomorrow :)

44 Days To Go!

I started a diet today in order to be 18 lbs. lighter by April 6, 2011. Nothing big or expensive. I'm just gonna see if I do the Special K diet, or a variation. See, I purchased Post's Honey Bunches of Oats and am pairing it with Almond Breeze Unsweetened Vanilla Almond Milk. They advertise that you can lose up to 6 lbs. in 2 weeks, and that equates to 3 lbs. a week. I am really looking forward to sticking with this, at least until cruise day! I want to get myself at least one new bathing suit. Something like these:
Let's see if I can fit in a size 8/10 by then!

45 Days To Go!

So, I have one month and a half to go...I like the sound of 45 days better.  :)
I recently became a member of cruisecritic.com (GREAT website for the cruise-addicted!), and let me tell you that I am hooked. I can go on at any time and there are always so many interesting, funny posts to read. I'm literally on it 24/7. I started out reading under general topics, but today I took a gander into the shore excursions and found lots of good tips on excursions I booked.
And that gave me an idea: I should talk about the excursions I booked for this upcoming cruise. Please see below:
Coco Cay: Wave Jet Tour - This guided 50-minute adventure will take you around the Berry Islands, neighboring Coco Cay. You will watch a safety video and receive an orientation, before boarding your Personal Watercraft for an informative and exciting guided tour. Some of the sights you may see include the Great Stirrup Cay Lighthouse, Slaughter Harbor, Star Fish Alley and the abandoned island community of Cistern Cay.
Nassau: Blue Lagoon Island Deluxe Beach Break - Giving you wonderful views of Paradise Island, your double-decker ferry will take you on a 40-minute ride to Blue Lagoon Island. Nestled within, is a calm lagoon, with idyllic aquamarine waters, palm trees and activities for you to enjoy. Your tour will include round trip transportation, unlimited use of the big boss aqua noodles, floating beach mats, inner tubes and a game area (volleyball, basketball,  ping pong and jumbo board games). A picnic style lunch is also included with your choice of a grilled sandwich (Angus Hamburger, Angus Cheeseburger, all beef hot dog,  all white meat chicken burger or a veggie burger) along with chips, fresh fruit and a fruit punch or lemonade. Bask in the sun, swing on the hammocks or participate on the many activities available.
I'm anxiously awaiting April 8th, 2011. See you guys tomorrow!

47 Days To Go!

Hello! I promised I'd upload a picture of the mock tickets I ordered to surprise my husband. I tried to get a really good picture, but they were all coming out blurry. So this is the best I could do.
Also, I forgot the packing list I was going to upload on here at work. I'll definitely upload it tomorrow. Here's a little info on our upcoming trip: We will be going on a 3-Day Bahama's Cruise aboard the Majesty of the Seas on April 8, 2011. Our anniversary would really be April 4, but the prices for that weekend were way more expensive(believe it or not). The ship was recently dry-docked and underwent an extensive renovation. Let's see how it looks on embarkation day. I'm sure it won't disappoint. Here are a couple pictures of the renovated ship:

Can't wait!!
